DANCE TO RAISE AWARENESS OF THE BREAST ASSESSMENT PROGRAM AT SMGH
We hope that you and your business choose to be featured in the SMGH Foundation Pink Glove Dance video. This will be a fun project. More importantly, participating in the video and wearing the pink surgical gloves will increase awareness of the Breast Assessment Program at Strathroy Hospital and hopefully lead to conversations with friends and family about the importance of early detection.
If our video submission is named as the 2015 competition winner, we will receive a $10,000 donation towards the Breast Assessment Program.
This program brings advantages and services to patients that are not presently available at the Hospital. It will increase access to cancer care locally and help to reduce the growing wait time for care within the region. This will have a significant, positive impact on the mortality rates of women in the southwest, where the incidence of breast cancer is much higher than the provincial average.
